Car Park There are two car parks which competitors may use. Please follow the AA direction signs to your assigned car park. The Scottish Golf Union and Ladybank Golf Club cannot accept any responsibility for damage to cars.
Catering Clubhouse catering, serving breakfasts, lunches and evening meals will be available from 7.30am. All catering is at competitors own expense.
Clubhouse The clubhouse will be open at 7.00am each day. Competitors, their families and guests are permitted the use of the clubhouse facilities but the dress regulations apply to all.
Casual wear is acceptable but must be smart. The wearing of t-shirts, football and rugby shirts, shorts, jeans and trainers are prohibited.
MOBILE PHONES AND GOLF SHOES ARE PROHIBITED IN THE MAIN CLUBHOUSE ROOMS Golf shoes can be worn in the spike bar.
No one under the age of 18 may consume or purchase alcoholic drinks.
Changing facilities are available in the gents and visitors’ locker rooms. Coin operated lockers, showers and towels are available but towels must remain in the changing rooms.
Caddie Cars and Yardage Books Yardage books are available for purchase and caddie cars are available for hire, both from the professional’s shop.
Course and Play Competitors will play one round on Friday 11 May and one round on Saturday 12 May.
The top 40 qualifiers and those tying on 40th place will play a further two rounds on Sunday 13 May. The draw for Sunday will be made available as soon as possible after the close of play on Saturday . Competitors must report to the SGU Championship Office at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Starting times are shown in the official draw sheet.
Each competitor will be issued with a copy of the local rules, pin positions and pace of play guidelines when registering.
COMPETITORS MUST REPORT TO THE OFFICIAL STARTER 5 MINUTES BEFORE THEY ARE DUE TO PLAY. Competitors are reminded that late arrival within 5 minutes of their starting time will lead to a two shot penalty. Those arriving in excess of 5 minutes will be disqualified under Rule 6-3.
Etiquette In the interests of all, players should play without delay, leave a bunker as you would expect to find them, replace divots and repair pitch marks.
Insurance The entry fee includes cover in respect of competitors legal liability in the event of injury to another person or damage to a third party property. An excess of £15 will apply.
Practice Ladybank Golf Club has very kindly granted courtesy of the course for one practice round on Thursday 10 May. Competitors unable to practice within the allocated times on the official day may be able to arrange an alternative time with the club at the junior green fee rate of £22.

Additional practice rounds will be charged at the junior green fee rate of £22. The price relates to the competitor only.
During their practice round, competitors can play from the medal tees. Except in accordance with the Rules of Golf, a competitor in a practice round must not have more than one ball in play. Exception - if a player misses a green with his approach shot, he may play one additional shot.
There is a warm up practice area behind the professional shop to the right of the 1st tee but is limited to irons only. There is also a chipping area which players may use. Players may use both these areas by supplying their own practice balls.
The practice putting green is for putting only i.e. chipping is not permitted onto this area.
Presentation The championship trophy and medals will be presented at close of play on Sunday 13 May at Ladybank Golf Club. All medal winners are expected to be present.

Directions The course is situated just off the A92. To access the course from the south and west it is advisable to take the A92 to Dundee which bypasses Ladybank. The course is then situated about 1 mile north of the Ladybank turnoff on the right hand side. However if you are coming from the north or east of Fife you will find the course 1/2 mile south of the A92/A91 Cupar roundabout. The course is then on your left hand side.
